I was not certain to make this month but again inspiration struck at the last moment. I was reading Rebecca's trib dealing, as always, on Tharda and I wondered what kind of magazine would be published in Coranan when the printing press would reach there. One 'Eureka' later and there is the cover.
I was not certain at first what appear on the fictitious cover but the title was easy enough: Halea Quarterly. It couldn't be anything else because one of Halea's main area is Trade. Besides anything else would just make Halea jealous, and we don't want that, do we?
Again, the cover was made with Corel Draw 8 with some clip arts from the collection included with the software. THe Harnic symbols (the bell, the shirt, the wheel and the tree) are all from the Harn Symbols True Type Fonts available on the web. I used them as symbols through Corel Draw's functions.
The cover took me one and a half hour to complete.
