For councilors I thought about a witch summoning up ghosts to obtain information of the after-life. There are only two forms that are based on existing people: Rene Levesques and Elvis Presley. The rest are non-descript people.
The cover was created on bond paper with inks over a pencil sketch. The implement used to ink the drawing was a Pentel portable brush with an integrated reservoir of China ink. The APacalypse logo was then pasted on top of the illustration.
