The New Member's Reminder
The resource for all who are considering joining APAcalypse. Updated irregularly, along with the rest of the web site.
Summary
New members must:
- Pay the yearly fee upon joining (5$ CDN).
- Provide a snail-mail (postal) address and phone number where they can be reached.
- Join the Yahoo Newgroup APAcalypse.
- Provide an electronic submission by email before noon on the day the issue is due.
- Keep their account positive so that they can pay for each issue as it is released.
In return they:
- Get one CD, mailed every 3 months, containing all the issues together in a PDF.
- Have the right to participate in mailing-comments, occasional contests and full membership in our newsgroup.
- Pay only the bare minimum cost for the issue (non members pay $5 an issue to cover postage).

Min-Act
Every three (or so) issues the total page count is examined. To remain a member, you must have five pages of Mailing Comments, and ten pages of role-playing related material.
The next Min.-Acc tabulation will occur in issue T-42 (2007). It will include issues T-42, T-43 and T-45. Remember you need 10 pages of gaming material and 5 pages of mailing comments!
All those who's accounts are not OK - owe an additional $5. This fee will be treated the same way as selling back issues - it will go towards lowering the cost of the issue.

Page Formatting
- Please allow at least a 1/2" border for binding on the left/odd page side.
- Please double side all submissions.
- No hand written submissions please.
- Make sure your name and your section title are both clearly shown on your cover page.
- All subsequent pages should be numbered and have at least the section title or your name on each one.
- If you send us multiple files - please indicate the order in which they should be added to the issue. Otherwise Throgs will randomly choose the order. They make a game of it you see.
We can accept the following formats:
- Adobe Acrobat (PDF) or device-independent post-script (ps)
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excell
- Open Office
- HTML, XHTML
- Adobe FrameMaker (7.0)
- Quark Express (6.0)
Note: We uses a PC. Some problems may occur if you send MAC-specific formats. We will contact you should a problem be found with your submission.
If your format choice is not to be converted to PDF - please tell us directly.
Your format choice must have a free viewer and be able to be printed to PDF to be accepted.
Dues are Due When Again...
Dues are collected in May. Yearly dues are $5 and they are added to the price of the issue.

Voting
To make the contest issue work - You need to get a membership to the Yahoo-Groups APAcalypse group.
After you receive your APA you have one month in which to vote. You can vote for yourself (if you participated) or anyone else, but you can only vote once.
Contests occur in APAcalypse sporadically, especially when we have prizes. Donations are always welcome.
